We have enforced a new limit of 200 on max_user_queuable jobs on each queue on kaon cluster.

Note: max_user_queueable value specifies the maximum number of jobs, per user, allowed in the queue at any given time (includes idle, running, and blocked jobs).

We are currently experiencing NFS file locking problem on the filesystems exported from kaon2. Please avoid using encp involving your home area on kaon2 until further notice.

Note: You could still use encp to transfer files from /project and /data/raid.

New version of mvapich2 has been installed in the directory: /usr/local/mvapich2-1.0.2. Please use the following version of mpiexec to launch MPI jobs compiled with this version of mvapich2: /usr/local/mvapich2-1.0.2/bin/mpiexec.

The NFS File locking problem on the NFS Server has been fixed and encp is available for general use.
